This Boat Has Everything!

(256) 882-1972
Just having finished the Great Loop Trip, Knot So Fast is simply one of the BEST trawlers on the market today. This beautiful American Tug features the optional fly bridge with electric retractible arch, which not only adds to her unique “Tug” lines, but is a great place to be outside on a sunny day. Top among over $200K in upgrades is the “luxury yacht” Raymarine G Series navigation system with two 17” screens in the pilot house and a 15” screen on the fly bridge. The Mark Tanner stainless steel arch lowers with the flip of a switch for clearing bridges.

This American Tug has a layout that is roomy, functional and attractive. It includes a second private stateroom with an ensuite head and an extra Pullman type bunk. If you are looking for the most functional layout with every attention to detail and safety, this is your boat.

She has traveled from Washington State to Alaska; Florida to the Bahamas, The Great Loop and up to the Tennessee River where she is moored in a covered slip in fresh water. She is ready for the Great Loop or any other adventure you can dream of.

Upon entry in to the Saloon, you notice the Sapele Wood striped look, Corian counter tops, stainless steel lights and fixtures, original carpet that looks like new, leather settee (with pull out sleeper) and headliner. Topping off the classy but casual atmosphere is the Scott Boyle high gloss coffee table with folding sides. Off of the galley counter is another fold up table that provides that extra space needed for entertaining 2 more guests for dinner. The galley sole is teak and holly and there is abundant storage around. The television is starboard, strategically located for easy viewing by everyone in the saloon with a sound system capable of supplying the pilot house and the saloon with a nice audio experience. The silhouette blinds provide different levels of privacy yet allowing a soft light in to the saloon from the large framed windows.
Three steps up, you enter the pilot house with extra refrigerator/freezer and ice maker aft. The console is spacious, yet leaves plenty of windshield view for comfortable operation. The sole is teak and holly and cabinetry matches the saloon. A beautiful overhead recessed light fixture with an oval teak panel, highlighted with a compass rose, provides an impressive nighttime ambiance. The pilot house settee and table is a great place for guests to ride and have a nice all around view of the scenery. There are tight sealed doors on both sides of the pilot house.
Off to starboard, down stairs are the two staterooms. The guest stateroom and ensuite private head, with full shower, is spacious and requires no compromise as many do in 41' boats. There is a double bed with a high end mattress and an upper single bunk. The washer and dryer is in a closet forward. A hatch leads to below deck storage that is finished with gelcoated fiberglass and offers access to the bow thruster and other mechanical items.
Around and down a few more steps is the master suite. It has a full walk around bed with a TV that drops down from the ceiling. A Raymarine ST-60 depth sounder provides security at anchor without having to get up at night. Both sides of the bed have night stand type cabinetry.
Both staterooms have plenty of natural light and storage, plus their own dedicated air conditioning system.
