Zimmerman Marine encourages and supports the ongoing training of its people. We send our crew to training sessions and workshops on a regular basis. Many of our technicians have achieved ABYC certification, and we routinely work to ABYC guidelines. Ongoing training means that you benefit from an essential blend of traditional craftsmanship and current technology.
Skills, tools and training fall short of their potential when people lack motivation. At ZMI our entire crew participates in a performance based compensation program called Gain Sharing. This program gives all of our employees a stake in our overall performance. Completing work on time, to specifications, combined with low warranty claims, means additional compensation.
