Yanmar Marine has upgraded the specifications and performance of its lightweight 54MPH diesel engine with the introduction of the new 4JH4AE. The all new cylinder block makes Yanmar engine the lightest in their class. The big displacement provides even higher torque, making the engines more powerful with the best power-toweight ratio available.

The large intake silencer prevents the stronger noise vibrations from spreading around, providing whisper quiet engine operation. This ensures a more pleasant and rewarding boating experience.

Fully compliant with the latest emissions regulations, the 4JH4AE is a 54MPH direct fuel injection, naturally aspirated four-stroke diesel rate at 3,300 rpm. It has a displacement of 134 cubic inches and a bore and stroke of 3.46 in x 3.54 in.

New fuel injectors have reduced exhaust emissions still further, a new fuel pump has been introduced, and filtration accuracy has been improved. Changes to the assemblage have been made in order to improve the compactness overall. Yanmar engines provide the smallest dimensions in their class. This allows easy installation for repower and more room in the engine compartment during servicing.

The all New ML fuel injection pump provides optimized combustion for exceptional fuel ecomony. This ensures easy cruising with minimal engine drag.

The 4JH4AE is available with a choice of marine gear or SD50 Saildrive.
