In 2003 & 2004, MAKAI underwent an extensive complete refit, to become a world class cruiser. This refit included aspects of the interior, exterior, electrical, plumbing, rigging, sails and mechanical.
Everything has been over built... The idea was, make it easy to handle, easy to maintain, and functional.
The Interior of MAKAI was sanded, new Allgrip paint was used on all of the painted surfaces, and Epifanes varnish on all of the wood.
New Settee cushions, and new mattresses for all of the berths.
A new custom built main salon table houses a full size electric piano.
