Thrilling Ride!
Year: 1980
Current Price: $49,000.00
Hull: Fiberglass
Fuel: Gas
Description:
The "Avion" looks like a thoroughbred with subtle shear line, white topsides accentuated with two blue trim lines and another blue line on the deckhouse. Everything is "long" and fair and the rig is clean and business like. The reverse transom shows off the lines of the canoe hull. The deck is gray nonskid and easy on the eyes but the cockpit has teak trim for just the right amount of tradition.
This boat has a rich history: Allan Fletcher, a noted Great lakes sailor, purchased this boat new in 1981. Originally named "Colt 45", the boat was delivered in Florida, where she raced the 1981 SORC. After the SORC she was transported to Alpena, Michigan (fresh water) which was her homeport until 1995 when a local SF attorney purchased her and named her Sundog. The current owner purchased her in 2004 and named her Avion.
There were approximately 11 Bianca's built and is the bigger sister to the Aphrodite 101 which are very popular in Europe. The company later merged with Hanse Yacht builders.
