General Description
Designed by famous naval architect Berret/Racoupeau for an experienced yachtsman who wanted both comfort and performance, this yacht combines exceptional outdoor relaxing areas and sumptuous accommodation for 6/8 guests/owner.

Actual Condition
This yacht has a huge deck saloon, lower deck salon & dining room. There is an owner cabin, 2 guest cabins, captain cabin and 3 crew cabins. These are very large cabins and large crew quarter. Boat Veritas registry and perfect for luxurious charter.

Her vast 34 sq. m. panoramic deck salon with wardrobe and bar and modern helm station offers a 360° view of the sea with an efficient air conditioning system and her sliding window panes sets her apart from other sailing yachts in this size.

The versatile sea water swimming pool/tender storage on the foredeck and her hydraulic swim platform for comfortable and safe boarding also make her unique in her size. In the stern she houses a 2nd tender/water toys.

The handcrafted warm cherry interior provides sumptuous accommodation (The full beam Owner´s cabin has a walk in dressing room and a very large bathroom with separate head and separate shower. There are two large double guest cabins and one smaller bodyguard/nanny cabin forward of the salon) all with en-suite bathroom. The large full beam main salon amidships has on one side a dining area and on the other side a casual seating area for relaxation and entertainment. The crew area contains a dinette, one double cabin with en-suite bath room, one single cabin and one double cabin that share a bath room.

Refit 2008
Thanks to an optimized hull and a brand new set of STRATIS sails, she is able to reach a top speed of app. 16 knots in perfect security. Her powerful MAN engine and her 75hp bow thruster make maneuvering at the dock painless even with a reduced crew.

Accommodations
Main Deck:
On the foredeck, we find the tender stowage with a powerful hydraulic crane: once the tender has been launched, this area can be transformed in a pleasant 350L salt water Jacuzzi.

What makes SY Obsession II really unique is her exceptional 34sq. m. deck salon that offers a 360° view of the sea with all comfort thanks to a powerful air conditioning system combined with her sliding windows panes that disappear into the coamings.

This space is a privileged place to live protected from the cold in winter and the sun while keeping touch with the natural element: the sea.

The deck salon comprises a dining area with a round table for 8/10 guests to port as well as two relaxing areas with coffee tables. There is also a bar area to relax with a bridge fridge, an ice maker, and a sink.

The wheelhouse is located forward with two seats and a well equipped communication area to starboard.

Lower Deck:
The warm and clear cherry tree wood salon comprises a dining area with round table and seats to starboard and a relaxing area with an extra flat screen TV, coffee tables and three sofas to port.
This part of 35 sq m is comfortable and offers silence and refinement for the owner and his guests. All these space can be air-conditioned or heated in winter.
Near the companion way there is a bar and you also have access to the fourth double cabin intended for children or a bodyguard. It has two berths in L and an en-suite shower room.
The stern part is reserved to the Owner and his guests.

A central corridor leads to two 14 sq m symmetrical double cabins which comprise a double central bed, a children berth bench, a closet, an en-suite shower room with separate w.c.
There is a TV with a Hi-Fi system as well as a satellite telephone in both cabins.
At the end of the corridor there is the huge Owner cabin which comes with a central King size bed, a dressing table, a study area, an en-suite shower room with separate w.c. and a large dressing room.

There is also an extra satellite/hertzien flat screen TV and a satellite telephone.
The 4 big laterals portholes bring lot of light and offer a lovely view on the panorama.
Maximum attention has been paid to comfort and safety thanks to a 10 cm thickness sound and thermo proofing that ensures a superior noise reduction.


Crew Quarters:
The Crew quarter (5 x crew) has an independent exit and comprises 3 single crew cabins sharing one complete shower room and a separate w.c.
There is also a double cabin for the Captain with an en-suite shower room and duplication of the navigation instruments.

The crew quarter includes also a mess with a table and a U-shaped bench, a laundry, a kitchen with a fridge and an internal video surveillance.
Stairs give access to the two waterproof engine compartments:
Freezer, electric panel, batteries, charger, desalination. This compartment is refrigerated.
The 2nd waterproof compartment, the engines room, has a fireproof door (1.80 m high under the bar), the main engine and the 2 generators.

Aft deck :
The aft deck comes with a table and two large L shaped sofas well protected by a rigid roof top. For bathing, two large stairways lead to the aft platform which can be extended with a telescopic swimming platform at water level.

The convenient spacious aft garage allows the easy launching of the Avon tender and the jet ski thanks to a 4m passerelle.

There is also a shower and a telescopic swim ladder.
This compartment is waterproof upon the Bureau Veritas classification.
