Layout
This updated version of a Marshallberg, NC built classic has all the lines you'd expect from a true Carolina Custom. From her distinctive flare to her graceful sheerline and tumblehome, her lines speak for themselves. Ray Davis was one of the pioneers of the Downeast custom boat builders, building over 100 boats during his 32 year boat-building career. He built this hull and had another Marshallberg boat-builder, Ray LeMay finish her interior. The current owner completely stripped this boat down to the bare hull before glassing, refitting her structurally, rebuilding her house and repowering her with New Cummins 450's. Her 2 stateroom/1 head layout are simple and clean designed for charter use. She has been lightly chartered (ave. 265 hrs./year) out of Virginia Beach and Oregon Inlet since 2002.

Cockpit
With a generous 224 sq. ft. cockpit, there is plenty of room to fight that tournament winner or just enjoy the sunset with your family. Her custom Wayne Tate fighting chair highlight this cockpit and her oversized transom fish box is easily accessed and will hold a memorable day's catch.

Salon
The spiral staircase to port is the first feature you'll notice as you enter her centerline doors. This allows safe, secure and easy access to the bridge in any conditions. To port and starboard are her clean and simple settees with underseat storage. To starboard are cabinets that are ready for refrigerator/freezer, stove and microwave.

Galley
The galley has been removed. Cabinets and counters are intact and ready for your customization.

Her helm is uncluttered with only her digital gauges and Garmin 2010C flush-dash mounted. All other electronics are mounted securely and out of the weather in her two overhead radio boxes.

Deck
Hull
She is juniper planked and fiberglassed in true Carolina construction. When rebuilt in 2004, she was completely stripped to bare hull and then reglassed with West System Epoxy, faired and Awlgripped. She shows this beautiful reconstruction well!

Additional
Master Stateroom
The Master Stateroom is forward and features a huge 10' berth and storage underneath. Hanging lockers to either side are birch panelled. Rod storage overhead keeps gear secure and out of the way. Teak & Holly sole add a nice finish as well.
Head
To Starboard is the fiberglassed head with aft drainage in the floor for easy clean up and drainage. The Lectra San electic recirculating toilet is aft and there is room for standard shower stall to be added forward.
