Description

Building your own sail can be a very rewarding and satisfying experience. Not only do you feel a sense of accomplishment, but the skills you develop in the process will make you a more self-reliant sailor. Sailrite makes building your own sail very easy and affordable by providing customizable sail kits. These kits are carefully engineered by qualified sail designers and contain the very products used by professional sailmakers at up to 50% less!

Sailrite uses state-of-the-art design programs and hardware to prepare each kit. Sail panels and corner reinfrcements are all computer-cut with seaming lines drawn along the edges. Double sided tape is used pror to sewing to eliminate errors and movement during the stiching process. Plus, each kit comes with a set of custom instructions and illustrations that have evolved from over 40 years of experieence and feedback.

Sailrite guarantees that each kit will contain the materials necessary to build a completed sail to the specifications quoted. Oftentimes the only tools required are a sewing machine, scissors, and typical shop tools. Die sets for heavy duty grommets will be quoted if required for your sail.
