LESTRALAUR is located at Driscoll's Wharf in San Diego, CA. Showings are by appointment only. Please call Gregg Morton at Northrop and Johnson 1-619-226-3344 or mobile 1-858-967-9310.
Lestralaur was built in 1981 and originally launched as the James Sinclair for the Canadian Fisheries Department to be used as a high speed patrol boat capable of negotiating the rough waters of the Pacific North West. Re christened as the Lestralaur and 90% of the conversion into a luxury expedition yacht complete, Lestralaur has all the bells and whistles you could possibly imagine. She was lengthened to 140’, re powered with brand new MTU 12V 4000 main engines, and fitted with new stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, plus many other mechanical and electrical upgrades. Lestralaur was also modified to accommodate a helicopter. She has the range to reach the farthest, most remote locations on the planet.
Main Deck level:
The Main Deck is complete with a Master forward with adjoining ensuite head, and large Jacuzzi tub. Just aft of the Master is the foyer with access to the starboard side deck, day head, and stair cases to both the Pilot House and lower deck. Moving aft is the well appointed galley to starboard, and large built in settee for casual dining to port. Moving aft again to starboard you will find the engineers control room with access to the engine room and to port is a formal dining area. Furthest aft is the main salon with ample space for seating, card table, entertainment with multiple flat screen TV’s and a large well appointed bar area.
Lower Deck level:
The lower deck in its current arrangement has a VIP stateroom with enclosed ensuite, just forward of the VIP are two guest staterooms with queen size beds and no attached ensuite heads. Moving forward again are another two guest staterooms with full beds and again no attached ensuite heads.
Just forward of the guest area and thru a water tight bulk head door is what could be used as a crew area. To port is a large Latrine style head with two toilets, two shower stalls and two sinks which was originally used as the head for the entire deck. There is also a Laundry room with washer and dryer to starboard. Moving forward are two crew cabins and another room used for storage forward.
The entire lower deck could be easily re configured to suit a buyers taste and needs.
