The cockpit on the aft deck can be accommodated for 8 guests to sit around a beautiful varnished dining table; which can be shaded by a hard awning and enclosed by isinglass roll down curtains. This charming area is superb for entertaining.
Double mahogany doors lead to the Main Salon. The aft section features a sofa, that also converts to a berth if need be, two armchairs, coffee table; in front of a false chimney with extensive woodcarvings, and raised panel cabinets. A new satellite TV is located under the painting on top of the fireplace.
Period style furnishings including beveled glass windows are all new and nicely complement the yacht’s classic style.
The Galley can be found on the port side. It is also well equipped, which includes a new stainless steel drawer type refrigerator/freezer, a new electric stove, dishwasher, microwave/convection oven and a double S/S sink.
A day head with shower is to starboard, just forward of the salon and on the landing to the accommodations.
Continuing forward, the Wheelhouse offers superb visibility, leather seating on a comfortable bench seat, which also converts into a double berth for the crew. A new stainless steel refrigerator has been added to this area.
The full beam Master Stateroom is located amidships with a queen berth adorned with wonderful woodcarvings. A writing desk is located starboard; with cabinets outboard. The ensuite bath is finished in mahogany, with a separate stall shower.
The Guest Stateroom is forward which includes a double berth, extensive cabinets and an ensuite bath with a stall shower.

During the period of late 2011 thru 2013, Admiral Benbow underwent a massive refit/restoration project. The cabin house was rebuilt, new beveled glass windows and crank mechanicals were installed, the entire galley was renewed with new cabinets, and appliances, and the pilothouse was refit. All aspects of the delightful interior was replaced, painted, varnished and simply made new.
The engine room was completely gone thru, with all machinery serviced, new pumps, and motors as necessary.
The mast was replaced, the boom re-engineered to easily lower and retrieve the tender, and the mast was made to fold for air draft clearance.
The yacht was finally re-varnished and completed painted. Simply stunning!
