This 78’ Pluckebaum Custom was launched in 2000. Commissioned and built for a wealthy industrialist as an ultimate live-aboard Coastal Motor Yacht. Always moored in western Kentucky fresh water until she was moved to The Harborage Marina, St. Petersburg Florida in December, 2015 by present owner. A Proper Gentleman's Proper Yacht
Great Live Aboard - Coastal Cruiser

Built in the US for a wealthy industrialist, this "one of a kind" yacht that will turn heads in any port.

After a lengthy design process to meet the owner’s desires for the ultimate live-aboard Coastal Motor Yacht, construction took 2-1/2 years and required over 20,000 man-hours to complete. Jade Princess (originally named ”Foerester”) was launched on June 30, 2000 at a cost of $1.3 million.

This “Gentleman’s Yacht” was intended to have the comfort, feel and warmth of a country estate.

The outside lines have a retro-style similar to a classic Burger design. The interior has the look and feel of old world charm. The lavish use of rich hand crafted mahogany joinery work is balanced by the honey colored hardwood floors, abundant light from all the windows and the ceilings with fluted mahogany beams. Oriental area rugs are used throughout the interior to accent several rooms.

Pluckebaum Custom Boats, the builder of Jade Princess was a 60 year old company that built over 600 vessels and have a stellar reputation of sea worthiness, quality, and value.

Built of Grade 5052 Aluminum, this high strength alloy has particularly good resistance to marine atmosphere and salt-water corrosion, and is suitable, not only for marine construction, but for a wide variety of aircraft components.

The deck, handrails, window trim, as well as bow and cockpit sole all feature extensive use of teak crafted and installed by Teakdeacking Systems of Sarasota Florida, known for their teak instillation on many of the largest yachts and cruise ships afloat.

Jade Princess was always moored in the fresh water of Western Kentucky until she was moved by present owner to The Harborage Marina, St. Petersburg Florida in December, 2015. This slip and its dramatic panorama view of the downtown St Petersburg skyline is available to the next owner.

Entering Jade Princess is like stepping back in time to a slower, more genteel era. The finely crafted rich Mahogany walls and beamed ceilings are blended with a hardwood maple floor cover by a burgundy oriental area rug to create a warm, inviting and relaxed atmosphere

The Main Salon offers a spectacular panoramic view outside. Large over stuffed leather couches and chair are ideal for large social gatherings or enjoying a movie on the 72 inch TV. When not in use, the flat screen TV retracts into a beautiful cabinet, just aft of the lower helm station.

The lower helm has a comfortable bench seat and has easy reach to all the navigation and engine controls.

Forward of the helm and down a few steps is the lower parlor, which is an ideal location for more intimate gatherings. To starboard is a large dining table that can also be used as a desk. Hidden under the outboard seats are filing cabinets for important papers. To port is a large overstuffed burgundy leather couch and surrounding the TV on the forward bulkhead are two comfortable chairs. A large burgundy oriental rug ties the room together. Access to the electrical, mechanical  and plumbing systems below is through a hatch in the floor.

The forward VIP stateroom features a queen size center island berth, built in TV and an ensuite head with stall shower. A washer and dryer and large hanging locker is hidden in the aft bulkhead.

Aft of the parlor is the large U-shaped gourmet galley that features abundant counter space, ample cabinets, a Jenn-Aire combination stove, grill and oven,  a microwave, refrigerator/freezer and a dishwasher. This galley is idea for preparing delicious meals for family and friend.

Opposite the galley is a guest head with a stall shower.

Next aft and down a wide hallway is a guest stateroom that features an over and under berth.

Across the hall is the opulent owner's head and features a gold claw footed bathtub, a pedestal sink, toilet and white tile walls and floor.

The full beam owner's stateroom has both a port and starboard queen size berth. with drawing curtains and two walk in closets. This configuration can be modified to center island berth should the next owner desire to make the conversion.
