This is a very Lucky Boat!
This Cal 44 is a lucky boat. She has been owned by the same knowledgeable, hardworking owner who has given her the care and love most of us can only dream of.

Every year after some gentle sailing for a few months in the islands or going to the keys, the boat is put away.

The sails are removed, cleaned, folded, put in their bags and stored properly. Then all of the halyards and running rigging is removed. It is coiled properly and stored in dry organized dock boxes on the owners pool deck. Then all of the canvas is removed, it is cleaned, folded and put away indoors so there is no chance the material will be moldy or wet. The exterior gear on this boat is like new, or is still new depending on how you look at it.

The interior is then cleaned from the bilge to the ceiling. No food is left on board, nothing but a few tools. She is spotless inside and out. No smells, nothing.

The owner has spared no expense on the equipment for "Lone Pair". She has everything a modern cruising boat will ever need in the way of electronics, mechanical and electrical gear. You can literally get on this boat, without every going to that marine store we all know and love and sail her anywhere. You probably won't need any spare parts along the way, because there are over $9,000 worth of engine parts on board as well as spares for all of the other gear too!!

She costs a bit more, but in the long run she is a bargain. Give us a call, make an appointment to come see her and you will know why who ever gets her will be the lucky one!

The Cal 44 has a large forward private stateroom with large V berth, with a HandCraft mattress, 3 storage lockers, bureau drawers, and hanging locker. Just aft there is an ensuite head with vanity, wash basin, and Lavac marine toilet to starboard. To Port there is a separate stall shower with a sit down bench (now used for a watermaker) A louvered sliding teak door separates this cabin from the main salon.

Moving aft is the raised deck salon with settee to port with U-shaped settee/dinette opposite to starboard; the dinette can be converted to a double berth. There is Ultra Suede upholstery in excellent condition. The engine and generator spaces are located beneath the cabin sole for easy access and proper weight distribution. There is a 19” Flat Screen LCD TV with external antenna, Boss stereo with cabin and cockpit speakers, and XM radio (inactive) with external antenna.
