Yanmar engine was installed new about ten years ago. Relatively limited engine use over period, largely used for powering on and off mooring, boat is primarily sailed. Though there is no hour meter, a conservative estimate is about 700 hours of engine run time- charging batteries and maneuvering. Values were adjusted a couple of years ago. Regular oil changes, no smoke, engine starts right up. Water pump changed previously.
Deck is covered with SteelFlex Epoxy resin deck paint providing a durable textured nonskid surface, and a complete epoxy seal without leaks.
Sails and Rigging
Rigging is set (with use of additional custom bearings) for an easy mast step and lowering in the event of serious storm preparation, storage or repair. Stainless steel tabernacle base allows mast to pivot on a pin for a controlled lowering or stepping at a mooring. And then store mast on deck securely.
