Robert Bittner, but call him Bob... is the proprietor of Southeast Aero-Marine, started in 1991. His love for sailing started in 1978 and continues to this day. He enjoys owning the last known remaining wooden Trumpy sailing yacht. Over the years his extensive experience within the marine industry prepared him to earn his current 100-ton USCG Master certificate. One of those experiences that propelled him forward was working for Lighthouse Boat Yard and Yacht Sales selling the Blackfin, Post, Buddy Davis, and Viking yachts. During that period of time he gained a vast amount of experience operating large motor yachts while performing deliveries and has continued to build on that experience as Captain of various types of vessels. Some of those include a 65′ classic wooden motor-sailor, 50′ Post sports fish and 65′ Viking motor yacht. He has also had hands-on experience of rebuilding several boats and yachts throughout his career. His extensive experience and working knowledge of boats and yachts is seldom found by a person in a sales position. He is not a sit behind the desk broker, but is intimately familiar with the workings of the yachts he deals with. There is a good chance that he has experience on the same type of yacht or boat that you are looking to buy or sell.
