I’ve been over in southern California, San Diego and drove up the coast to Los Angeles.  The weather was Great for boating and saw a lot of boats out there. The waters were amazing, with wonderful colors. Harbors were full of boats and yachts, power & sail coming and going. The no-rush feeling you get in California is intoxicating, and everyone is so courteous. The shore line consists of beaches to high cliffs. The surfers out there make you feel anyone can get on a surfboard…they make it look so easy.

Harbors are very protected and large, making it easy for navigating in and out of. It would be a great place to keep a boat or yacht on the west coast for those times you come out. Some of the marina rates start under $12.00 a foot with electric included. There is plenty of fishing out there and the seaside restaurants are so inviting. Living on a boat in California looks pretty tempting also. It’s worth a trip to find out and look around. Boat prices and weather are good…a great combination!
